Version 3 · Effective 2026-08-05
Alicedda currently accepts cash and manual bank transfer. Online card payment and Stripe checkout are disabled. We will update this policy before card payments are reactivated.
7.1 Price and payment schedule
The order confirmation or quotation states the total price, payments made, balance due, method and deadline. A customer must not be charged an optional extra without clear prior agreement.
7.2 Bank transfer
A bank-transfer order remains “Awaiting bank transfer” until cleared funds are manually verified by an authorised member of staff. A transfer reference does not by itself prove payment. Use only the bank details shown in the authenticated order/booking area or an authorised confirmation. If a request to change bank details appears suspicious, contact Alicedda using the independently published contact details before paying.
7.3 Cash
Cash is due at the time and place stated in the confirmation, for example on collection, delivery or at the event. An order is not marked paid until an authorised member of staff records the amount received and provides or records a receipt. Customers cannot mark their own order as paid.
7.4 Part payments, balances and overpayments
The customer account may show total price, amount paid and balance. Part payments reduce the balance only after verification. An overpayment will be investigated and returned through a safe, verified method. We may request reasonable information to prevent fraud.
7.5 Payment corrections
A confirmed payment record is not silently overwritten. Corrections use a reversal or adjustment record with the reason, authorised user, date and amount, so the financial history remains clear.
7.6 Fraud and security
Do not send passwords, one-time passcodes, full card details or online-banking credentials by WhatsApp, email or website forms. Alicedda will never ask for a password or security code to receive a refund.
7.7 Late or unpaid balances
If a required payment is late, we may pause preparation or treat the booking as at risk after reasonable notice, subject to the accepted quotation and fairness requirements. We will not impose an undisclosed or disproportionate charge.
