Online Food Ordering Terms

How online food orders are placed, accepted, changed, delivered and collected.

Version 2 · Effective 2026-08-05

3.1 Product information and availability

Product descriptions, ingredients, allergens, portions, availability and images must be read together. Availability is not guaranteed until the order is accepted. If a product becomes unavailable, we will offer an agreed alternative or refund the unavailable item.

3.2 Checking the order

Before submitting an order, the customer must have a reasonable opportunity to review and correct the basket, quantities, fulfilment date, address, delivery or collection method, allergy declarations and payment method. The final order button must clearly indicate that submitting the order creates an obligation to pay.

3.3 Acceptance and confirmation

An automated “order received” message confirms receipt of the request, not necessarily acceptance. The contract is formed when we send an acceptance or confirmed-order message. The confirmation will provide information the customer can save, including the order reference, items, prices, fulfilment details, payment status and relevant policy versions.

3.4 Changes and cancellation

The 72-hour change rule applies. The customer may request cancellation before fulfilment, but prepared food, perishable goods, personalised items and orders tied to a specific fulfilment time may not carry a general 14-day change-of-mind right. The Cancellation, Changes and Refund Policy explains the contractual process and preserves statutory rights where food is faulty, unsafe, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

3.5 Delivery and collection

Delivery and collection are governed by the Delivery and Collection Policy. The customer must provide a safe and accurate location, a reachable contact and any access instructions.

3.6 Food handling after delivery or collection

Follow the storage, reheating, serving and use-by instructions supplied. Responsibility for food may be affected if it is stored, handled, reheated or served contrary to those instructions after delivery or collection.

3.7 Group orders

A group-order host is responsible for inviting participants, checking the group deadline and ensuring payment arrangements are understood. Each participant’s allergy and dietary information must remain private and visible only to authorised people who need it for safe fulfilment. Group ordering must not be offered publicly until its operational workflow has passed launch testing.
